(Generations Relating Education and Talent)
An Evening of Schubert

The Marietta Master Chorale joins forces with Marietta High School, and other choirs to perform Schubert’s Mass in G, with chamber orchestra.  The program will also include Schubert’s  An die Musik, Wiegenlied, Ave Maria, Salve Regina, and  Symphony no.8.  Soloists will include Youngsook Oh, soprano; Bradley Howard, tenor; and Oral Moses, bass will be the featured soloists.  We will announce the 2009 recipients of our scholarships at this concert. The Marietta Master Chorale’s Carnegie Hall Debut Concert
Carnegie Hall

The Marietta Master Chorale will perform the Carnegie Hall premier of two new choral works, which have been commissioned specifically for us by Alice Parker and Jack Jarrett. Featured on this concert will be Duo Pianists Sarah Stedman and Steinway Artist Joseph Meeks.

Two Magnificent Magnificats
Location: TBA

The Marietta Master Chorale presents Johan Sebastian Bach’s Magnificat with chamber orchestra and professional soloists.   The Latin text of Bach’s Magnificat will be contrasted with a setting of the text in English through Robert Ray’s Gospel Magnificat featuring a prominent gospel solo artist.
